In January, Slaithwaite Philharmonic will feature the beautiful work D’un Matin de Printemps by Lili Boulanger, an award-winning female composer who died tragically young at just 24 years old. They welcome back Andrew Zolinsky as soloist in Rachmaninov’s ever popular 2nd Piano Concerto before pulling out all the stops with Stravinsky’s wonderful ballet score Firebird.

There will be a pre-concert talk in the hall at 18.30 which is free to all ticket holders.
