Join us for a delightful summer afternoon of music, wit, and charm at Huddersfield Town Hall, as acclaimed duo GreenMatthews return with their brand-new seasonal celebration: Midsummer Revels.

Following the success of their enchanting Midwinter Revels, this sun-kissed sequel draws audiences into a warm and joyful world of traditional English folksongs, self-penned pieces, and irresistibly toe-tapping tunes. From tales of the land and sea to songs of town and country, this intimate performance captures the very spirit of the English summer – evoking lush green fields, blue skies, and the music of days gone by.

Performed on a fascinating array of instruments – including English border bagpipes, mandocello, and shawm – and laced with GreenMatthews’ trademark humour and theatrical flair, Midsummer Revels promises a vibrant, feel-good experience with an elegant folk twist.

🫖 Before the performance, enjoy a relaxed and sociable light lunch served in the Town Hall's charming setting from 11:30am, featuring homemade soup, a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and a tempting array of delicious cakes – the perfect prelude to a delightful musical afternoon.
