Gordon Stewart, Organist Emeritus, makes his ever-popular annual visit to the Town Hall, bringing his unrivalled knowledge of the ‘Father’ Willis organ’s colours. He explores Amy Beach’s gentle Prelude, and performs the late Andrew Carter’s landmark Passacaglia & Fugue, written in honour of Francis Jackson’s 90th and 100th birthdays.

Enjoy a pre-concert lunch, served in the stunning surroundings of Kirklees’ historic town halls, before every organ concert. With a choice of soup and a roll, sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. Served from 11.30am. All items individually priced. No need to book, just turn up and enjoy!
